lara snider is an artist who recently moved from brooklyn to london. a former visual coordintor at anthropologie, lara creates beautiful paintings that remind me why i'm always so nuts about the displays at anthropologie. her sense of color and proportion are spot on and i'm really loving the smooth, stone forms she's created in these pieces. lara doesn't have a site up yet but if you're interested in purchasing (or possibly comissioning) pieces from lara just sent her an email
right here. [thanks, lara!]

oh cool! i used to work with lara.
anthro people are doing great things.
looks like your beautiful bathroom grace! i love it.
I usually really like the artists that D*S selects, but this time I'm a little disappointed. This is really juvenile and barely worth mention. Perhaps this artist is quite talented, but that can hardly be judged by this effort.
gorgeous work!...i am obsessed with the current displays at anthropologie. i LOVE the baloon theme they have going on...specifically this window display here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/platinumblondelife5/482980466/
love your work!!!
Innovative work. I like the bold simplicity (which seems so sparse at first glance), which then evolves into something much more quietly complex.
i like it!!
like it
the simplicity of the work is perfect. balance of shape and color makes the simplicity so rich
