ivy
i'm slowly becoming obsessed with this ivy coatrack from mos office. i've seen in it person a few times at rare device but it's never quite grabbed me enough to bring it home. we have a sort of awkward space next to our apartment door right now and i'm wondering if this would be a good solution. you can find out more (and see close up shots of the product) right here.

Cute! I think it looks great! Although it's hard to tell if it would hold up the weight of a coat? I have a space in the hallway next to my door that needs coat hooks of some sort and I like this idea...
so cool...
i have one of those annoying, silver boxes on my wall as well... it does a great job of making the ugly box a little less conspicuous.
Michael Meredith is in the current Design Triennial at the Cooper Hewitt right now. There is an entire wall full of it.
I love these ivy coatracks! And i love your blog by the way..:)
we have had various things hung on the rack at the shop - umbrellas, hats, handbags. it all depends on how you configure it, and how many anchors you put into your wall (anchors and screws are included in the package).
