mini-trend: polka dots

i've been obsessing over dots and stripes for the past few weeks. i'm not normally drawn to either look but something about this classic pair has intrigued me lately. more often than not i find myself drawn to tiny black and white dots, rather than a larger variation, but i thought it would be fun to flesh out a full mini trend on each. i'm starting with dots today because i'm in the process of having a black and white dotted cushion made for the bench in my kitchen. there's something delightfully fresh and preppy about dots so i hope you'll enjoy the mini-trend. there's certainly a lot of it in the market right now so you'll find something for every price point. enjoy!

I'm thinking of recovering my overstuffed camelback sofa, and in my head, i want it to be white and cream polka dots... a lot like the BEAD from hable. Any ideas who might have a fabric like that?

I am so happy that the Flor tiles were shown! I have been looking around for months for a centerpiece rug in my living room. This was exactly what I needed! Thanks!

I too have been obsessing over polka dots lately. I think the obsession was sparked by the aforementioned Amy Butler fabric, but now extends to every size and colour of polka dot! So I'm loving this mini-trend, thanks Grace!

Well done!! I love love love polka dots, always have. That would be an interesting anthropological study subject - why we're so attracted to such funny things. I mean they're just dots!! But, awwww....so cute.

Are you going to move this post over to the mini trend area for future reference? I love to be able to locate all the mini trends together.

Thanks, as always!
