pear tree

as thoughts of fall start to slip into my head (i'm ready for these 95 degree days to end) i'm looking to fabrics that are a bit darker and richer- this pear tree fabric in dark grey is a nice way to ease out of the summer brights and into something a little cooler. available right here for $18.95 per yard...

i love the pear tree pattern! must find something to upholster...

yes, after 1 week of 90+ degree weather, i, too am ready for fall! btw, i now realize how incredibly smart it was of you to skip playing street hockey this year. 95 degrees + black top = asking for it! :)

In my kitchen I have a large wall that was perfect for a chalkboard. Instead of seeking out the perfect size, I just bought the chalkboard paint. I cannot express how cheap and easy it is to use. I just outlines a large rectangle with painters tape and filled in the space. The best part is that Micheals now carries chalkboard markets in all colors so you don't have to have the residue that goes everywhere from regular chalk! I hope that helps!

Hey! My friend just sent me a few yards of this fabric from Japan! It is so beautiful in person, I can hardly imagine cutting into it...
