amy ross
the lovely amy ross recently launched a blog to showcase her beautiful new illustration and collage work. i'm normally not a big fan of mushroom imagery (though i do enjoy mushrooms in most of my food) but i love the way amy morphs human and animal imagery with fungi in her collages. click here to check it all out. [thanks, amy!]

a bit obscene looking.
I was just thinking that myself. The first few images are a little dirty looking, but I love the legs.
Those make me blush. I'd love to frame some and hang them very discreetly in hidden corners of a library.
wasn't something exactly like the first one on a tori amos album cover several years back?
I'm with "!"
good lord those are fallic! but at the same time great from a technical p.o.v.
Phallic, yeah, but aren't all mushrooms inherently phallic? I don't think it's indecent- it's just a shape found in nature.
See, you all jump to obscene, but I think these would be great for an Alice-in-Wonderland-type story.
I was just thinking Alice in Wonderland!, because I am throwing a Through the Looking Glass" themed party for Halloween, and I have Alice on the brain...
Mushroom mania seems to be everywhere these days, check out my post on mushrooms and NYC:
can i buy prints of these mushroom images?
