i'm a little late to the game but i just wanted to congratulate meg mateo ilasco on her wonderful new book, craft inc. it's the sort of book i wish i could write, but never could. meg's expertise in the craft business translated into an extremely practical and inspirational book about turning your craft love into a real, working business. you can pick up a copy right here, or enter not martha's giveaway contest.

thanks grace! you should mention that you're featured in the book, too. ;P
I really really need something like this for the Canadian market. Any recommendations, anybody?
Would love something like this for the UK. Any ideas?
i'm looking through the book right now and i don't think it's necessarily US-centric. the basic principles and tips apply to everyone, anywhere. are there specific aspects of the book of which you'd like to find european/canadian versions? if so i can ask around and see what i find.

I just picked this book up on Friday and I'm already done reading it. I have certain parts highlighted that I want to refer to in the future. This book has really inspired me to start thinking "business like" and really take a look at what I have in my own collection and work from there to create a "brand" for myself. I'm going to be blogging about this book myself tomorrow!

And cheers to Sarah Meyer who did a beautiful job designing the book. I just picked it up the other day and am so excited to spend some time with it.
Mine just arrived in the mail yesterday! I'm lovin' it so far! I've been dreaming about a book like this to come along for years. The design and illustrations inside the book make it even better! Good job!
