very very vivid

ok, so i can barely keep my hands still because i'm so excited. my wonderful wonderful ac has an amazing job interview tomorrow that i am so so excited about. so please please please think good job thoughts for him if you have time- he soo deserves this job and i hope it works out. eeee! anyway, back to blogging...

vivid is a dutch design group that puts on amazing exhibitons every eight weeks or so, in order to provide up and coming designers with a wide audience for their work. once a year vivid does a show on a designer from the past whose work has been both inspirational and influential for contemporary designers. what i find so phenomenal about vivid is their commitment to true artists, people who push boundaries and are constantly thinking outside of the box. their dedication to supporting truly creative designers and those who have paved the way for them is amazing. in addition, they have an awesome roster of artists with whom they've worked. studio job is among them and i well, i looove studio job. click here for more info on vivid and their upcoming exhibitions (fyi- they don't just showcase dutch designers, they support a wide array of international artists as well).
