bleach
bleach is a portuguese design firm that carries some pretty cool products. i'm not sure if they're carried in the states yet (anyone know?), but i'm trying to find out (i think the cork stool might be at matter in brooklyn). so, until i hear more, this is for you- d*s readers in portugal....
bleach is riding the cork wave with two new pieces made from the earthy material (one of my favs): a cute little stool (similar to one made by one of our clients) and a vase i LOVE. i don't know prices, but i'm sure they're up there. but this is just a sorta "hey, this is cool looking!" post.
one side note: the website says that "your life will be changed once you know these objects"- not sure about that, but it's worth checking out (be sure to turn the music off, it's kinda annoying).

i live in portugal and didn't know bleach yet.
portugal is a little country but a big cork producer, though most of it goes for exportation. nice knowing that portuguese designers are making something nice out of it.
