just a reminder that sometimes urban outfitters can be a great online source for those of us who like design but can't afford high prices. they have some great nesting tables (4 tables for $110), cool sheets ($36-$50) and a slick lucite table on sale for $79. each piece is sure to add a little fun to your place, and they'll go pretty easy on the purse as well. click here for more urban outfitters home.

i love your blog. i don't always love the pieces but they are always eclectic and thought provoking and sometimes affordable. i also think urban does a good job with affordable design, but the online service is complete crap. i ordered a lamp and it arrived completely smashed. they promptly sent another, but sheesh. i also ordered a very cute couch from them which 1. took almost one month to arrive and i informed them at the time that i placed mt order that i lived in a 4th floor walk up and i expected delivery to my apt door, not curbside. the shipping company finally contacted me and i had to get the number of stairs "approved" UO hadn't informed them causing further delays in shipping 2. the box was so beat up and parts of the sofa were hanging out 3. the hardware to attach the legs was missing. it probably fell out of the destryoed box! i called customer service and a week later i am still waiting to get the hardware! long and short, beware of Urban OUtfitters online.
that's so odd- i've ordered from them far too much since my college days and never had a problem, and i've ordered chairs, etc from them. sorry to hear you had such a rotten experience with them.

Gotta remember your dealing with two companies really, the retailer and the shipping company. This can be unfortunate when it comes to home goods. Urban is very good though for finding designer and affordable in the same store.
Those sheets are so adorable- but so unfortunate- poly/cotton blend is just plain wrong....
