introduced at this year's london design festival, the isle lounge sofa was created as a, "derivative of a simple dwelling environment for zero gravity". basically, it's a HUGE chair/couch thing that claims to give a, "unique, almost weightless experience". the outer shell is made from carbon epoxy and upholstered in special 3d textile from hybrids+fusion and can apparently hold, "as many people as you can imagine". while i'm not entirely sure if i like this or not, i thought it was worth sharing. more info here.
