garvey is a british bespoke furniture designer i discovered in the 100% design exhibitor list. while i'm not sure about the long term practicality of wooden sinks and bath products, i love to look at them. so gorgeous. esp the japanese-style deep tub. more info here.

Actually, wooden tubs are no less practical than other varieties--my parents are putting one into their bathroom as we speak. If built well, they are durable, beautiful, and naturally antibacterial.

Ah! Love those sinks. Awesome.
While William Garveys work is lovely, you should be aware that it is actually illegal to bring into the US. There is currently a ban on Burmese timber products due to the fact that Burmese timber sales support the militia's rule of that once great nation and prevent the installment of the democratically elected government. There are many other wooden bath and sink makers more reputable than Garvey such as Driftwood, Topimpex and Ars Piscina.
Please advertise these rather than Garvey!
