iannone:sanderson
ac and i are learning french for our trip in june by listening to pimsleur audio lessons. so in between telling someone "i don't understand french" and "good morning, m'am" it's been lovely to look through submissions from designers showing at icff. this morning i got an email from michael of iannone:sanderson. i've been a fan of their work for some time and it was great to see their newest pieces move in a slightly different direction, but while staying true to their green design roots.
based in philly, iannone:sanderson produces furniture that combines modern lines with eco-friendly materials. the pieces above and directly below are from their new line called green:mod. each piece features bamboo clad cabinets in different storage configurations with bamboo or solid wood fronts. each pieces is then finished with an environmentally friendly water based lacquer. the top piece is my favorite, but the pieces below are lovely as well. i'll def. be stopping by their booth at icff (booth 1818) so stay tuned for more from iannone:sanderson.
[i'll be doing a video tour of icff so that those of you outside of nyc can "walk" the show, too! so stay tuned for mini interviews with designers and behind the scenes footage from icff]
