chair (and kitty) love
finally- something from room and board foot through our door! my christmas present arrived today in the form of a beautiful grey grace chair from room and board. ms. jackson has claimed it as her own but i plan to re-claim it tonight and watch my tivo'd veronica mars episodes. if you have a narrow door way but need a comfy chair i highly suggest the grace.Labels: furniture

that would an expensive chair for my cats to claw the crap out of! it's lovely though. someday after i send my cats to finishing school i will have nice furniture.
and speaking of cats, i'd love to see your litter box. it is all cute and design-y or a van ness from petco? how do you deal with tracking? I always figure that no matter how nice i could make my apartment it would still have stinky litter in an ugly little box. i'd love to see your solution.

the kitties have freshly trimmed nails so hopefully i can protect the chair for a while ;)

Hey Grace! I too ended up getting the Grace chair (remember, d*s readers helped me decide last year) and having it upholstered in a cream color. I will have to send you a pic!

Oh, it is a beautiful chair. It matches my sofa, too, so it is a good job they don't ship to London, or I'd be tempted!

That chair is my favorite item in the R & B collection. I love that it has a tweedy Jetsony-Hitchcockian feel.

um - get some feliway - if you are worried about kitties scratching - it's a phermone and if you spray it on for a few weeks kitties tend to not want to scratch. no guarantee - but we've used it w/ good results :)
