folding couch

yes, this has been all over, but I'd like to point out Molo: a Canadian company that has been doing similar things with furniture for a while now, including a wall screen and ottomans. Check out molodesign.com

the accordion thing has definitely been in for some time now. i posted molo's pieces when they came out but the wow factor for this piece (for me at least) isn't the accordion style so much as the way that you can make this into an infinite amount of shapes. the molo pieces are lovely but are designed for one shape (usually the round oval or small stool). i love that this becomes 18 different seating options...though i don't know how strong any of them would be ;)
