have a seat

i've become obsessed with this bench. it's way too long for our home but if i had a nice long wall that needed occasional seating i'd whip this up in a heartbeat. and i actually like the vintage teal fabric. i wish the print next to it was for sale as well. click here to bid on the bench (current bid: $152.50).

I've been looking for a bench like that to recover for ages - although I rather like the colour of the material - it is too bad that I live on the wrong side of the world!

grace - that is one great bench! it also seems like it could be something an upholsterer could knock-off, no? if you found some tapered legs - and i found a source for those on AT, they could make it!

i may have to ask my LA upholsterer, freddy the mullet, how much it might be!

Hi Sera,

Freddie is at:

ABC Upholstery
7851 Alabama Ave # 1
Canoga Park, CA 91304
(818) 888-9520

He's 'just Freddie' (no mullet - he just has a mullet so I call him that). Tell him Nancy Smith referred you. :)
