penelope green had a great find in today's ny times currents section. she mentioned the new series of sari-upholstered furniture at abc home (which is generally pretty sari-happy), which includes this gorgeous chair. in addition, 5% of the sari-furniture sales will go to the william j. clinton foundation. you can visit the ny times piece right here and click here for more information on abc home. the chairs are available at abc home, which doesn't have an ecommerce site but you can call and ask about the chair from the ny times if you're interested. it's a cool 2k though...eesh!

This is stunning. I love sari fabrics and have been looking for creative uses for them. This is a great idea!
